Tips for Best Newborn

Photo Shoot

It is helpful if the baby is fully fed and sleepy prior to arrival

Best to dress baby in simple and comfortable clothes.Bring couple of outfits to change, especially those favorite ones. Sentimental props can make pictures more memorable.

the posed newborn session

My POSED newborn sessions are meant to spend time truly capturing priceless, unique newborn artwork. These sessions typically last 2-3 hours, and focus is spent on getting baby posed into perfectly sweet, snuggly, setups. These sessions are where we really get creative and use beautiful styling, backdrops, and props such as baskets, bowls, and greenery. I spend a lot of time during a session perfecting poses, details, fingers, etc. and I believe these little things are what makes the difference between a snapshot and a work of art featuring your baby.

Posed newborn sessions are shot in my studio in San Jose, CA., and all props, headbands, accessories & backdrops are provided. The only thing you need to worry about bringing to the session is your cute baby.

Choose between a wrapped mini session, posed newborn session, or newborn + family session bundle. Posed newborn sessions include all the high resolution digital files in an online digital gallery. Galleries include a print release to use your photos how, where and when you please.

the lifestyle newborn session

My LIFESTYLE newborn sessions are designed to get relaxed, natural images of baby and baby with the family. These sessions don’t include any posing of your baby or styled setups. Baby is photographed laying on a bed, in a crib, and being held by family. Lifestyle newborn sessions typically last 1 hour, and are shot in my studio in Santa Clara, CA. These sessions are perfect for families who want candid images of their new babies, and aren’t focused on getting the more perfected, posed, detailed newborn portraits.

A lifestyle newborn session includes individual shots of baby, family poses, parent poses, just the kids, and candids, too. A typical gallery includes 25+ edited images with a print release to use your photos how, where and when you please.

Session Detail

The session includes up to four people, with a $25 charge for each additional person. Also, session fee includes editing of each image to prepare the online gallery which will last for 1 month for you to share and order pictures. A private online gallery will display your final images, each personally and creatively edited to our style.

After the session: A password protected online gallery will be available for you to share with family and friends after approximately 2 weeks after your session. When payment for your print is made, please allow 2 to 3 weeks for delivery of print enlargements. Orders will not be placed until payment is received in full.
